Short Journeys: Ternopil

It turns out that there is a lake in Ternopil. A taxi on the way to the hotel dives from one street to another and, after regular intersection, goes on a spacious road along the Ternopil pond. The driver says that this is the largest artificial reservoir in Eastern Europe, but I have not found confirmation of these words. However, it is certainly the biggest one I have ever seen. The sun sets behind our hotel, at the end highlighting the hills and slopes of the ancient Galician city. The faces of people as one turned towards the warm wind of May, and you can hear a steamer horn in the distance. Shadows lengthen and mix with others, they come with evening coolness, fatigue, the sounds of cicadas and folk festivals. Summer is coming.
