According to the Global Slavery Index’s global anti-rating slogan, compiled by the Australian Human Rights Watch Free Foundation, the share of those living in modern-day slavery in Ukraine is 6.4 per 1,000 people.

Among the countries of Europe and Central Asia, Ukraine is on the 7th place, Turkmenistan – on the first (indicator 11.2 per 1000 people), Russia – on the 11th (5.5 / 1000). The closing ratings are Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Luxembourg with a score of 1.7 – 1.5, respectively, UNIAN reports.
