Darnytsky court of Kyiv “took” a judge who considered the case of Krysin, the “coordinator of the aunts”, reports Radio Liberty.
The judge of the Darnytsky court, Olga Prosalova, supported the petition for the removal of her colleague, who on July 26, for the fourth time since the beginning of the trial, was filed by Krysin’s lawyers. They state that Judge Leontiuk is “biased” and “guided by the prosecutor’s office”.
Earlier this month, the Darnytsky District Court of Kyiv continued arresting the case for the kidnapping and torture of Euromaidan members Yuri Krysin for two months.
Krysin is also a contributor to the murder of journalist Vyacheslav Veremiy during the events of EuroMaydan. On December 22, 2017, Shevchenko District Court of Kiev found him guilty of hooliganism and sentenced him to four years’ imprisonment with a probationary term of two years. However, on June 13, the Court of Appeal of Kyiv abolished the conditional sentence and sentenced Krysin in this case to five years in prison.
