The U.S. Senate on August 1 passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2019, which, among other things, provides for the allocation of $250 million in security assistance to Ukraine, UNIAN reports.

In addition, the U.S. Department of State is instructed to report to the U.S. Congress on the state of cooperation with Ukraine in the field of cybersecurity.

The NDAA shall be enacted by U.S. President Donald Trump’s signature.
