The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine is considering the closure of the railway connection with the Russian Federation. Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan announced this, UNIAN reports.
“On the contrary, we are currently considering the option of closing the railway connection with Moscow,” he said at the “Breakfast with 1+1”, answering the question about increasing the train connection Lviv-Moscow. Recall that in the summer of 2017, the Russian edition of Kommersant, referring to its sources in the government of Ukraine, reported that from July 1, Ukraine is allegedly preparing to stop rail passenger service with Russia. PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsya” denied this information. The report on the cessation of passenger traffic from the Russian Federation on July 1 railwaymen were called “ineligible”.
