Kyiv calls on the British authorities to conduct an investigation into the terrorist activity in eastern Ukraine of a London-based pro-Russian provocateur and propagandist, British Graham Phillips, writes Ukrainska Pravda.
On the eve of Phillips broke into the building of the embassy of Georgia in London during the exhibition on the Russo-Georgian war of 2008. He was promptly detained by the diplomatic police. Phillips, a scandalously well-known journalist of television channels Russia Today and “Zvezda”, shouted anti-Georgian and anti-Nazi slogans, said in the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
“We condemn the brutal, immoral attack by Russia’s propagandist on the Georgian embassy, and we hope that the UK police will investigate this assault and its terrorist activities in eastern Ukraine, based on the materials we sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” the statement reads. Recall that in July 2014, the Security Service of Ukraine detained Phillips and decided to expel him from Ukraine, with a ban on entry for three years. After that, he returned to Russia, and from there – to the Donbas and continued his work.
