Ukrainian ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova asks the Russian pardon commission as soon as possible to consider the pardon request of the mother of a political prisoner, Oleg Sentsov. She wrote about it on Facebook and published a photo of the request, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

“The appeal of Lyudmila Sentsova on pardoning her son was submitted for consideration by the Commission on pardons in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and I asked the Commission to consider this request as soon as possible,” Denisova wrote.

Sentsov was detained in May 2014, on May 14, 2018, he declared a hunger strike demanding the release of all Ukrainians captured in the Russian Federation – and he keeps it already for the 89th day.
