Ukrainian defense companies have built according to NATO standards, a new self-propelled howitzer “Bohdana”, reports Ukrainiska Pravda.

This was reported by Oleksandr Turchynov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, at Zhytomyr testing ground, where the gun was tested, the NSDC press office reports. According to him, the weapon has a “155-mm NATO caliber.” “Its important characteristics are high mobility, precision, range, and high firing speed,” Turchynov emphasized.

He added that with special ammunition it can hit the target at a distance of up to 60 kilometers. “Weapons of such a caliber was absent in our Armed Forces, it was absent in the Soviet Army, nor does it exist in the modern Russian army,” said the NSDC secretary.
