In Afghanistan, MI-8 helicopter crashed into the territory of the Shahin camp of the Afghan Armed Forces of the three Ukrainian citizens its crew members were on the board.

According to NewsMaker.md with reference to the statement of the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova, the helicopter with registration number ER -MHR which belonged to Valan International Cargo Charter Moldovan Airlines.

“There were three crew members on board of helicopter – Ukrainian citizens and 11 passengers – Afghan citizens. According to preliminary data, two crew members and ten passengers died as a result of the crash,” the report said.

The helicopter crashed around 7:30 local time. Its destination was the province of Farayb.

According to Afghan officials, the cause of the accident was a technical malfunction.

In fact, an investigation was started to find out all the circumstances of the tragedy.
