The District Administrative Court of Kyiv upheld the lawsuit filed by the People’s Deputy Boryslav Rosenblat with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Prosecutor General’s Office, on the recognition of their illegal actions in the course of operational-search activities. It is noted that the trial lasted almost a year, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

The court found that representatives of NABU “unreasonably committed actions to prosecute Rosenblat.” In particular without the consent of the Verkhovna Rada to bring the plaintiff to criminal responsibility, which, among other things, “led to an unlawful interference in the personal and family life of Rosenblat.”

Rosenblat is accused of having received 200,000 dollars for the influence on the decision of officials of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil and local authorities on the provision of special permits for the use of subsoil by the LLC “Ukrtechdobych”.
