The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine claims that the administrative court exceeded its authority when it decided that the bureau tapped the MP Boryslav Rosenblat unlawfully and would appeal this decision, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
“The assessment of evidence in criminal proceedings is not the competence of an administrative court. The District Administrative Court of Kyiv… exceeded its authority,” the statement says.
NABU believes that the Administrative Court “acted contrary to the Code of Administrative Justice of Ukraine.
Anticorruption authorities claimed that Boryslav Rosenblat and MP from the People’s Front, Maxym Polyakov, demanded a bribe from a non-resident company for amber mining in Ukraine.
