The Security Service has published talks of militants from the occupied territory of the Donetsk region who are fighting for power in the occupied Donbas after the death of the former leader Oleksandr Zakharchenko, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

The Security Service states that on the record, militants discuss changes in the “power structure of the Donetsk people’s republic” and consult on these actions with the Kremlin.

In particular, on September 6, Oleksandr Kazakov, the official advisor of Zakharchenko, called Dmytro Trapeznikov, who at that time served as chair of the so-called “DPR”.

It is clear from the conversation that militants expect that Vladimir Putin’s assistant and curator on the occupied part of the Donbas, Vladislav Surkov, will help them to solve the “issue”.
