The suspect of murder told that he had to teach the veteran “a lesson”, not kill him, UNIAN reports.

Artem Matyushin (also a veteran of the Anti-Terrorist Operation) underlined that the owner of the “Mojito Bar” promised him a reward in the form of financial assistance in the development of any business.

As reported by UNIAN, an activist, a former member of the ATO (code name “Sarmat”), Vitaliy Oleshko was shot from a hunting gun in the yard of his house-hotel on July 31. The same day, policemen detained four former ATO members on suspicion of murder. Police work out several versions of the murder, in particular, for political motives, on a domestic basis or through a business conflict.
