The Cabinet of Ministers has continued to implement the Special Commitment on the sale of natural gas for the needs of the population and the District Heating Commission at a reduced price until October 18, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
According to it, the corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Friday.
It should be noted that there were no reports on the holding of the relevant meeting either on the Cabinet’s website or on the government pages in social networks.
At present, the issue of gas prices for the population is key to restore the funding from the IMF.
Earlier, the head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev said that the Government of Ukraine during negotiations with the IMF reached a principled agreement on the gradual increase in gas prices to the level of import parity by 2020.
