Speaking about domestic achievements. Ukrainian Railways presented an updated corporate logo, which, according to the management, has been styled to look like a locomotive and is a symbol of moving forward. Moreover, the agency that worked on a new design, created a new symbol for free. About how the network responded to such a change of logo – in the reactions from Opinion.
As the chairman of the board, Yevhen Kravtsov notes the new logo of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsya” (Ukrainian Railways), combines the best traditions of the company and its powerful development potential. The sign is supposedly a symbol of the company’s movement forward. Yeah, and, obviously, it is a symbol of maximum modesty, albeit a very disguised one.
Subsequently, Kravtsov added that the updated symbol is a peculiar starting point that gives an opportunity to see the reality of changes in the company. Ok, let’s check it again. Changes in the company are demonstrated by… a new logo. Changes are the logo. The demonstration is the logo. That is, you can expand your company as much as you want, improve any aspects of it, but don’t forget: until you have changed the old logo to some kind of updated version, nobody will notice anything. Hmm. In the end, the board chairman of Ukrzaliznytsya added that the company hadn’t spent any money on the development of a new logo, it worked on the design itself for six months. Again, let’s check it. In order to create an imaginary starting point to demonstrate changes – within six months, a new mechanism was developed. Wow-wow, what do you do? Where does this rush come from? Why am I talking about the “betrayal” out of nowhere? There are changes, and it’s good that something is changing.
Kyrylo Tkachev added several words for public reading. According to his words, he was responsible for the text part of the sign and logo. It turns out that the logo was made first, the same thing that should resemble logo, and only then the person worked on letters “УЗ”. So, Tkachev assures that the widespread on the Internet image is not the final version, and the company, which won the tender is engaged in the development. As for the details (like a preview of some series), author of the post promised to tell a little bit later. Well, let’s read and follow.
Taras Volyanyuk, the head of the infographic studio Remarker, is convinced that the scope of design is one of the most competitive as much of the population and just big share of the Internet users… have an expert qualification sufficient enough to persuade others in their own truth. Oh, my sweet armchair critics, it seems that somewhere on your side some thorns just arrived. The specialist is worried the most about unemployed schoolchildren. It’s not surprising: this professional community is always left unheard.
What do they write about the logo on the network? You know everything is as always, except that sometimes you can see something funny. For example, the Hammerman Destroys Viruses band slightly edited the logo of Ukrzaliznytsya, and it turned out that the company had declared its love to the band. However, according to the musicians themselves, this love will remain unrequited. Well, we’ll see what you say when the Ukrainian Railways will be the only means to get to some settlement. There will be love, and oaths of eternal fidelity. So that is how the life goes.
But not everyone can create any interesting or, at least, least funny reactions, right? For someone, such changes in design are a great opportunity to tell grandpa Freud about their own complexes. So, the blogger Oleksandr Noinets did not deny himself this pleasure.
There were even more concise reviews, how can it be without them. Here, for example, we have the opinion of the co-founder of publishing house ”Vydavnytstvo” Illya Strongowski. Briefly and without odd words. More precisely, briefly about his personal point of view. Cause you like to start the fuss, I know you.
However, we don’t live by Ukrzaliznytsya” alone. As the Ukrainian aviablogger Vitaliy Trubnikov told – on the same day the Odessa airport logo was presented. However, both innovations for the blogger were quite acceptable, and in Odessa, they were even highly praised for their new symbol. However, Trubnikov expected something better from Ukrainian Railways. But it is not surprising, it always works: the larger the scale of the company and its presence on the network, the higher the level of expectations and further criticism. That’s the way the cookie crumbles, that’s the way the network evaluates.
In general, as it was rightly emphasized by the brand manager of Yakaboo Kateryna Avramchuk, it’s hard to remember when Facebook and its peaceful and kind population were satisfied with at least some kind of branding. Wait, and Facebook, does it know how it is to be content with at least something? That’s what I hardly recall.
