Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman said that the government decided to start the heating season from October 15, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
“Today we make a decision about the start of the heating season from October 15,” said Groysman. According to him, it is important to look not at the calendar dates, but at the current temperature. “It’s very important for people to get hot water and heat in their homes in time, and this should be as quick as possible,” the premier said. At the same time, he added that in the regions the local authorities will decide for themselves exactly when to start the heating season and this will be a test for them “to understand the needs and problems of people.”
