Hungary decided to send the Ukrainian consul in response to a similar move of Kyiv. This was stated by Foreign Minister of Hungary Peter Siyarto at a press conference, HVG reports.
According to him, he called the ambassador of Ukraine in Budapest and informed her that the consul has 72 hours to leave Hungary as a proportional response.
“Ukraine continues to aggravate the conflict,” he said.
Reminding you that on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine informed the Ambassador of Hungary in Ukraine, Erno Keshken, that the consul of Hungary in the city of Berehove was declared persona non grata.
Earlier in the Ukrainian media, there was information about the issuance of Hungarian passports to citizens of Ukraine on the territory of the Hungarian consulate in the Berehove, Zakarpattia region, as well as the corresponding video of taking the oath.
