The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv granted permission to the Chief Military Prosecutor’s Office for investigation concerning former Minister of Income and Assets Olexandr Klymenko, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

This was announced on October 5 on Facebook by Deputy Prosecutor General – Chief Military Prosecutor Anatolii Matios.

“Today, the court, with compliance with all the norms of the CPC of Ukraine, has announced a court order to consent to hold a special (in-patient) pre-trial investigation of a suspected Klymenko, and the prosecution will then go to court,” Matios writes.

According to the police, the tax service for the leadership of Klymenko caused the state losses due to non-receipt of taxes in the amount of 104 billion hryvnias – 10 billion dollars during 2012-2014 years.
