Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on special economic measures to be adopted in response to Ukrainian sanctions. The relevant document is published on the official website of the Kremlin, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
It is noted that sanctions are imposed “in response to unfriendly and contrary to the international law of Ukraine, related to the introduction of restrictive measures against citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation”.
According to the decree, the government of Russia should determine the list of individuals and legal entities subject to sanctions, as well as determine the nature of the sanctions itself.
As you know, in the summer Russian media reported that the Russian government is developing sanctions against Ukraine.
