Two peaceful residents who became victims of a landmine near Zolote four days ago, still remain on the minefields, Hromadske reports.
“The bodies of the dead directly lie on the positions of the troops. The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of Fire has appealed to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and, personally, to the deputy head of the mission, Alexander Hug, to come to the other side to arrange for the removal of the body. Hug replied that he was taking actions”, said the head of the press center of the joint command post of the Joint Force Operation Leonid Matiukhin.
Meanwhile, the International Committee of the Red Cross said they were ready to take the bodies of the two dead civilians, but they still could not do this because of the mined fields around them.
