President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko proposed to consider the possibility of placing in Ukraine a joint UN-OSCE peacekeeping mission, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“It is necessary to further search for a mutually acceptable solution for the placement of peacekeepers in the Donbas. It may be possible to consider the option of hosting a joint UN and OSCE mission in Ukraine”, Lukashenko said to the meeting of the Main Group of the Munich Security Conference on Wednesday in Minsk.

According to the President of Belarus, such a mission may include military personnel, police officers, civilian personnel from countries that contributed decisively during the whole conflict.
