In this year’s ease of doing business, which is the World Bank, Ukraine has risen to the 71st position, having scored an additional 0.94 points. Last year, Ukraine occupied the 76th position on the quality of doing business, Hromadske reports.
Business conditions in Ukraine remain among the worst in Europe. According to this indicator, the Ukrainian economy lags behind all neighboring countries, including Belarus, Moldova and Hungary.
Over the past year, Ukraine has somewhat improved its position in international trade, international contracts, electricity and minority rights protection. At the same time, the situation in the area of payment of taxes and obtaining a building permit deteriorated.
