The National Bank believes that Russian sanctions against 322 citizens and 68 companies from Ukraine won’t affect the macroeconomic stability of the country. This was said during the briefing of first deputy chairman of the National Bank Kateryna Rozhkova, Ukrinform reports.
“We can’t give you profound analytics yet. Regarding counter-sanctions, Ukraine has imposed sanctions much earlier, so we have already applied certain countermeasures,” she said.
Rozhkova explained that most sanctions were applied against individuals and blocked non-cash funds, assets, securities, and everything that is in Russian banks.
