Verkhovna Rada summoned the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the GPU and the Security Service of Ukraine to report on investigation of Kateryna Gandzyuk murder and attacks on other activists. For the relevant decision at the meeting on Tuesday 222 deputies voted. The heads of departments were invited at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
According to Verkhovna Rada Speaker, Andrei Parubiy, the deputies want to hear their information about the status of the investigation of attacks on public activists.
Recall that on the day of November 4, it became known about the death of Ekaterina Gandzyuk, an activist and advisor to the mayor of Kherson. Kateryna Gandzyuk was thrown concentrated sulfuric acid at her face on July 31, as a result of the attack, the woman received burns of 40 % of the skin and severe eye damage. But for 3 months, law enforcement officers have not been able to solve this crime.
