Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow’s influence on the militants in the Donbas is not unlimited, so it’s very important for her who will “rule” the occupied regions. He told this to journalists, commenting on the so-called “elections” of the leaders of the occupied Donbas, reports TASS.
“Moscow certainly influences the leadership of these republics, but it is not unlimited,” the Kremlin representative admitted.
According to him, “it is very important” who will govern the so-called “republics”. It is noted that Peskov has so far refused to answer the question about Russia’s recognition of the results of the upcoming “elections” in the occupied Donbas. He noted that first you need to wait for their results.
