Representatives of the “BPP” and the “Narodny Front” factions in the Verkhovna Rada are trying to create a controlled temporary investigation commission that will analyze the results of the investigations of attacks on public activists. This was announced by the lawyer of the anti-corruption group “Resuscitation Reform Package” Alexander Lemenov on Facebook, writes Ukrainska Pravda.
He noted that the authorities had come up with a conflict of interest in order to prevent People’s Deputy Mustafa Nayem as a member of the commission. “They want to create an absolutely controlled temporary investigation commission in the Verkhovna Rada that analyzes the results of investigations in relation to attacks on public sector representatives. Mustafa Nayem remained outside the commission, invented a “conflict of interests”. Of our partners in the Council, only Elena Sotnik, Igor Lutsenko, Anna Gopko”, Lemenov was outraged. Nardep from “BPP” Mustafa Nayem demands to create a temporary investigatory commission to investigate the facts of attacks on activists in 2017-2018.
