On November 8, the third stage of introduction of quotas on Ukrainian-language songs and programs on the radio comes into force. From now on, at least 35% of the songs, including prime time, will be in Ukrainian, Hromadske reports.
Also, from now on, the proportion of programs in the state language should be at least 60%. It’s about news, analytics and entertainment.
The quota must be kept during the day and in time intervals between 7:00 and 14:00 and 15:00–22:00.
So far, the share of Ukrainian-language songs on radio was 30%.
