The European Union will impose sanctions against five people involved in organizing “elections” to uncontrolled Ukrainian government in the territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. About this Radio Svoboda became known from the diplomatic sources in the EU. 

The names of five people who participated in the organization of elections will be added to the sanction list for actions against the territorial integrity of Ukraine. They will be banned from entering the European Union, their assets on the territory of the EU will be frozen. Currently, there are 155 people and 44 companies on the list. The European Union condemned the “elections” organized by Russia-backed militants on November 11 in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
