The Verkhovna Rada refused to consent to the prosecution, detention and arrest of a people’s deputy from the group “Will of the People” Stanislav Berezkin. Such a decision was taken at a parliamentary sitting on November 20, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
The prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, commented on bringing Berezhkin to justice. He said that SAP suspects Berezhkin in the case of theft in Oshchadbank. According to the Prosecutor General, the holding of the People’s Deputy took over 20 million dollars.
Recall that at the end of 2016 it was reported that the state “Oshchadbank” sued the co-owners of the agroholding “Creativ” Yuriy Davydov and Maxim Berezkin, 200 million dollars. Total Berezkin and Davydov owe “Oschadbank” 300 million dollars for fictitious loans.
