The armed forces of Ukraine led to full combat readiness due to the capture of Ukrainian boats in the Kerch Strait, Hromadske reports.

Head of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko ordered to bring all units of the Armed Forces to full combat readiness on the basis of the approval of the National Security and Defense Council proposals to enter the military situation in Ukraine.

Recall that Russian ships fired and captured Ukrainian ships near the Kerch Strait. According to the latest data, six Ukrainian sailors were injured. The FSB of Russia confirmed the shelling and detention of Ukrainian ships in the Kerch Strait. In total, there were 23 military men in the three Ukrainian boats.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said he supports the introduction of a martial law because of the Russian Federation attack on Ukrainian ships near the Kerch Strait.
