Ukraine appealed to the signatories of the Budapest Memorandum demanding urgent consultations to be held to ensure full compliance with the obligations and immediately cease Russian aggression against Ukraine. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“On November 25, 2018, the Russian Federation carried out another act of armed aggression against Ukraine by armed attack on the ships of the Naval Forces of Ukraine in the Black Sea and the Kerch Strait. This bold and insidious attack is a continuation of the armed aggression against Ukraine launched by the Russian Federation on February 20, 2014” was said in a statement.
It is indicated that on November 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine appealed to the signatory countries of the Budapest Memorandum requesting urgent consultations in order to ensure full compliance with the obligations and immediately stop the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
As it is known, the signatories of the Budapest Memorandum are the United Kingdom, the United States and Russia.
