FBI Special Adviser Robert Muller, who investigates Russia’s interference in the US presidential election, suggests that some of the Ukrainians who visited Donald Trump’s inauguration were trying to offer “peaceful” plans and other agreements that coincide with Moscow’s interests, The New York Times reports.

The federal prosecutor’s office questioned witnesses about how some of the Ukrainians were given access to the inauguration events they met during their stay in the United States and that they were discussing, including the various proposals for “peace plans.”
