Ukravtodor will allocate 500 million hryvnias for urgent repair of Kyiv-Chop and Kyiv-Odesa roads. Repairs should be carried out in the coming months, Hromadske reports.
“Yesterday, we met with Slavomir Novak (head of the State Agency of Motor Roads – Ed.) to discuss the state of the Kyiv-Odesa and Kyiv-Chop routes. We found additional funds – about 500 million hryvnias, which will be immediately directed to the elimination of bumps and to ensure the normal travel by these roads in the coming months,” the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan said during the meeting of the government on February 6.
At the same time, he added that currently the volume of road repairs is “unprecedented” for Ukraine. In addition, work on the construction of the route from Odesa to Reni will end in the summer.
