The head of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, announced the creation of a special working group in the lower house, which will assess the damage allegedly caused by Ukraine to the occupied by Russia Crimea. According to him, the working group was created with the head of the first vice-speaker of the Duma Ivan Melnikov.

“As for the analysis of the damage caused to the Crimea and Sevastopol during the 23 years of the annexation of the Crimea and Sevastopol by Ukraine, we will discuss this issue today on the Council of the State Duma, and we will proceed to make specific decisions, within which we will endeavor with the involvement of economists, scholars, academy of sciences, with the participation of representatives of regions, studying the situation both in the Crimea and in Sevastopol, to come to the final document,” Volodin said.
