As of 12:30, 100 Ukrainians appealed regarding violations of their electoral rights. This was announced during a briefing by the ombudswoman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights Lyudmyla Denisova.
“100 Ukrainian citizens have already complained that their electoral rights were violated. It’s about their absence in the voters’ lists, minor mistakes that almost deprived them of their rights, but we are resolving this issue as we appeal to the heads of district commissions,” the ombudswoman assured.
According to Denisova, Ukrainians are complaining about an insufficient number of balloting boxes, distribution of ballots without verification of identity documents, attempts to remove ballots from the polling stations and violations of the secrecy of voting by photographing their expression of will.
