Presidential candidate Oleh Lyashko, in the presence of cameras and voters, publicly demonstrated his ballot with the result of his will, violating the secrecy of voting.

It is reported by the Committee of Voters of Ukraine. They noted that voter’s demonstration of the results of his expression of will in the premises for voting is prohibited and is considered as a violation of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian legislation, Lyashko may be subject to a fine from one hundred to three hundred income tax exemption limits, or correctional labor for a term up to two years, or a prison term for up to three years, for violating the secrecy of voting.
