Showman got the majority of votes in the first round – 30, 4%. Together with him, the incumbent president Petro Poroshenko gets to the second round. This is stated in the report from the National Exit poll.
National Exit poll 2019 during the first round of the presidential election was carried out by Democratic Initiatives Foundation, KIIS, and Razumkov Center. According to them, as of 18.00, Volodymyr Zelensky gains the leading position – 30,4%. Immediately after him, the incumbent president – 17,8%. Yulia Tymoshenko takes third place – 14,2%. Yuriy Boyko takes fourth place – 9,8%. The ex-Minister of Defense, Anatoliy Hrytsenko gained 7,1% of support.
Recall that these are only preliminary results of the polls by the 18:00 pm. Figures for the closure of the polling stations should be made public at 23:00. Official results should be announced by April 10th.
