The team of the presidential candidate, Petro Poroshenko, believes that his opponent, Vladimir Zelensky, failed to fulfill his promise and didn’t pass properly the tests on alcohol and drugs, although he initiated them. This was stated by the spokesman of the Poroshenko headquarters, Oleh Medvedev, at the briefing on Friday.
“To pour some blood for souvenirs for his supporters – this doesn’t mean to go through the serious test on alcohol and drug addiction, as it is provided by medical protocols,” Medvedev said.
He emphasized that the owner of the Eurolab laboratory, which Zelensky chose, “is a politically intertwined star of Medvedchuk’s channels,” and he “openly sympathized Volodymyr Zelensky.”
He reminded that the acting Minister of Health Ulana Suprun explained how to establish the presence of alcohol and drugs in the body.
“As far as we know, Zelensky did not give his hair for tests. According to Ulana Suprun, hair is the key material for the detection of drugs, since traces of narcotic substances in the hair are stored for about 90 days,” Medvedev said.
