French philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy helped to organize the visit of presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky and his team with French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
Bernard-Henri Levy recently visited Kyiv and publicly reported that on the eve of the first round he held a two-hour meeting with Zelensky.
It should be noted that before the last presidential election, in March 2014, Levy played an important role in the organization of the visit of Vitaly Klitschko and Petro Poroshenko to France.
From various sources it is known that initially Paris hesitated about the need for a meeting between Zelensky and Macron. His role in the positive response of Paris, probably, was played by the decision of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel to accept Poroshenko.
Le Monde previously reported that Zelensky was the initiator of the meeting in Paris.
