Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman plans to take part in the next parliamentary elections. The head of government wants the “reasonable majority” to be in the next parliamentary convention. About this Groysman said on the air of the ICTV channel.
The PM believes that the appointment of early elections to the Rada will not make significant changes.
“I’m ready for the election. I understand that the elections will be in 2019. A month earlier or a month later, it does not matter too much,” the head of government said.
Asked if his words would mean that he would go to the polls with his own political force, Groysman replied: “I have never concealed the fact that I will be involved in the parliamentary campaign, because I believe that there is still a lot to be done, this it is necessary to do make reasonable majority and reasonable coalition in the Ukrainian parliament.”
Regular elections to the Verkhovna Rada should take place on October 27, 2019.
