72.2 % of the polled Ukrainians who are determined to vote, will vote for the presidential candidate and showman, Volodymyr Zelensky in the second round of elections. 25.4 % of respondents will vote in favor of the current president Petro Poroshenko. This is evidenced by the results of the survey of Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.
Of the total number of respondents who are going to vote and decide on the choice, 72.2 % will vote for Zelensky and 25.4 % – for Poroshenko, and 2.4 % want to spoil the ballot.
From the total number of respondents, 48.4 % of Ukrainians would vote for Zelensky and 17 % for the current head of the state if the second round of the presidential election was held now.
By method of personal interview sociologists interviewed 2004 respondents in 129 settlements of all regions of Ukraine (except Crimea) by a 3-step stochastic sample with a quota selection at the last degree, representative for the population of Ukraine under the age of 18. In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the poll was conducted only on the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
