The presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko spent almost 97 million hryvnias on the campaign before the run-off from April 7 to 13, his opponent Volodymyr Zelensky – 50.4 million. This is reported by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
It is noted that the NAPC approved the analysis of interim financial reports on the receipt and use of election campaign funds by candidates for the post of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelensky.
It is reported that the report covers the period from April 7 to April 13, 2019.
In the analysis of the report it is noted that during the period, the Poroshenko Election Fund was formed at the expense of the presidential candidate’s own funds (99,900,000 AH ).
According to an analysis of Zelensky’s report, during the reporting period, his election fund was formed solely at the expense of the political party (44,597,440 UAH). Voluntary contributions were also not made at this time.
