On April 21, there were 6 bomb blasts in Sri Lanka: three in the hotels and three in the churches. In particular, in churches located in the cities of Kochchkade, Negombo and Batticaloa. All hotels in which explosions occurred are located in Colombo.

Later, there was information about the seventh and eighth bomb blasts. According to preliminary information, there are no Ukrainians among the victims of explosions.

Currently, no organization is responsible for the blasts. Police in Sri Lanka detained seven people on suspicion of involvement in bombings in churches and hotels.
