According to the results of the national exit poll, at 6 pm, Volodymyr Zelensky got almost three times as many votes as his opponent, Petro Poroshenko.
Throughout the country, Zelensky got 73.2%. Instead, 25.3% of voters voted for the current president. Another 1.5% of the ballots were damaged.
The data for the regions are as follows: in the west, Zelensky got 57% of votes, Poroshenko – 41.3%. 70.3% of voters supported the showman in the centre, while the current president – 28%. The south gave 85.4% to Volodymyr Zelensky and 13.4% to Petro Poroshenko. In the east, a “plus” near the name of Zelensky was put by 87.7% of voters, while Poroshenko – 11.2%.
