Belarus forcedly suspended the export of light oil products to Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic States due to the receipt of low-quality Russian oil. This was announced by Deputy Director General of the Belarusian Oil Company Sergei Grib.
“The supply of light oil products – gasoline and diesel fuel to Ukraine, the Baltic states and Poland – has stopped,” Grib said, commenting on the consequences of reducing oil refining at the Belarusian refineries due to poor oil supplies from the Russian Federation.
“At the moment, contractual obligations are suspended until the issue of Russian oil is resolved,” added Grib. According to him, “export of dark oil products (fuel oil, bitumen, etc.) from Belarus has been preserved in full due to the lack of their consumption on the domestic market.”
