The Verkhovna Rada defined the date of the inauguration of the President-elect, Volodymyr Zelensky. It will be held on May 20 at 10 o’clock. This suggestion was supported by 315 deputies, two deputies were against.
The draft resolution was filed by MP Vitaliy Kupriy. Before that, the deputies did not support 2 resolutions on the inauguration of May 19.
Zelensky demanded to appoint his inauguration on May 19. Earlier, he wrote a letter to the Speaker of the Council Andrii Parubiy, in which he insisted on appointing the inauguration on May 19. In this case, according to the law, he will have time to dissolve the parliament, if he wants it and there will be legitimate grounds. At the same time, Zelensky himself said that it was too early to speak about dissolution of the parliament.
