State-owned PrivatBank filed a lawsuit with the Delaware Court of Justice against the former owner of the financial institution, Ihor Kolomoyskyi.

Resource Law360 claims that among respondents is also the second largest ex-owner of the bank, Hennadii Boholyubov and their investment companies. The charges relate to the possible laundering of billions of dollars through the Delaware shell companies that purchased businesses and commercial real estate in the United States.

In its statement, PrivatBank announced billions of losses. According to it, defendants used funds to buy valuable properties in Ohio and even more than a dozen states, including Texas, Florida and Kentucky.
