The mission of the International Monetary Fund, headed by Ron van Rodin, ended its visit to Ukraine but is ready to return to continue discussions after the parliamentary elections. This is an official statement of the head of the IMF mission.
So, on the basis of the visit, Mr. van Roden said, “The team of IMF experts had very fruitful discussions with the authorities of Ukraine, including president Zelensky, regarding the revision of the stand-by-show program between Ukraine and the IMF. IMF experts came to the conclusion about the realities of monetary and fiscal policy.”
The mission is ready to return to continue discussions after the parliamentary elections. “The new government will decide on the priorities of its policy,” he emphasized.
