Abiturients from the occupied districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the Crimea can apply for Ukrainian universities via centres of the Ministry of Education and Science.

“Today, on June 3, the Crimean-Ukraine and Donbas-Ukraine educational centres began to work all over Ukraine – this will last until September 27. Via these centres, residents of the temporarily occupied territories can go to the Ukrainian universities and colleges by a simplified procedure – without a foreigner’s license, a Ukrainian passport and a certificate,” the Ministry of Education and Science reported.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science Yuriy Rashkewych reminded that educational centres are working in Ukraine since 2016, and admission to Ukrainian universities makes it possible for people from the occupied territories to obtain diplomas recognized around the world.
