Freelance adviser to the president of Ukraine, Boris Tisenhausen, said that president of Ukraine and U.S. President Donald Trump might meet after the G20 summit, which will take place on June 28-29.

In a comment to Radio Liberty Ukraine, he said the fact that Trump’s administration was the first to invite Zelensky to Washington for a meeting means that “Zelensky has been given certain credibility from the United States.”

“It seems to me the administration of the White House hopes to drive complicated issues from the deadlock,” Tisenhausen said, mentioning that one of the catalysts of the upcoming meeting of the presidents was a probe into the Ukrainian Burisma Holdings gas company.
